Quest #4.1 - Buoyancy

Welcome back! I'm picking a quest from the original Lego Quest this month.
This month's Lego challenge is: Bouyancy!

"Can you create a marine vessel out of LEGO that floats?

You may need to experiment with several designs until you create one that works the way you want it to.

I would like your photo submission to show your creation in water, either floating, or perhaps in its sunken state, whichever you choose.

If you would like to take this a step further, you can place heavier objects like marbles or coins in your boat to see how many it can hold before it sinks. I'd love to hear all the details and so would everyone else!

Here is some great information about buoyancy to get you started.

Here you can see how other kids from around the world responded to this challenge."

Quest #3.1 - Nativity

December is here and with that comes our next Lego Quest!

Quest #3.1: Build a nativity
You could include any of the following:
Stable, Mary & Joseph, Baby Jesus, shepherds, star, wisemen, animals, etc.

I don't have any examples since once again I'm going off the official "Lego Quest for Homeschoolers" grid.

Pinterest or Google Images have lots of examples if your kids need some inspiration.

Quest #2.1 - Lego Gun

We're on to Challenge #2.1

My boys have been building Lego guns like crazy around here. They're on the coffee table, kitchen table, in the bathroom, everywhere.

So with that said, our challenge this month is to build a gun.

We're going off the "official" Lego Quest for Homeschooler's grid with this challenge so I don't have any examples to show you, I'm sure you'll do fine anyway!

As a reminder, "this can be simple or extremely complex, it's up to you. The only real rule is that it has to be custom built. Your own creation, not a pre-designed one."

We're going to start things off nice and easy with a repeat challenge from years past.

"Get your LEGO out, it's time for LEGO Quest Challenge #1.1

This can be simple or extremely complex, it's up to you. The only real rule is that it has to be custom built. Your own creation, not a pre-designed one."
